Here’s another link to a piece I did at Real Pants, this time about a fledgling bookstore. I thought their story would be interesting to writers who are also devoted to getting their work out into the world. I interviewed Kyle Harvey about what kind of books they sell, what their mission is, and what it’s like in their Colorado town called “Fruita.”
Of their inventory, Kyle says:
The literary focus is poetry heavy, though we also feature books on astronomy, geology, human history, quantum physics, etc. We opened with around 1,500 titles, many of which are from small presses.
